The Ctrl-Alt-Defeat team demonstrated outstanding performance in this year’s #CyberBastion competition, a premier tournament for cybersecurity professionals. Over the course of seven months and ten rounds, they confronted a range of real-life-based simulated cyberattacks, navigating complex scenarios from reconnaissance to privilege escalation and data exfiltration—all while managing a limited defensive budget.
The Group IT Cybersecurity – Security Operation Center team, comprised of Piotr Kosowski, Łukasz Goździkowski, Rafał Guziński, Przemysław Jurewicz, and Dariusz A., triumphed over more than 80 teams. Their success was a testament to strategic thinking, expertise, and experience applied at every stage as they carefully assessed risks and selected the most effective defenses. Congratulations, gentlemen!
The GFT team has shown that cybersecurity is not just about technology but also about mastering strategy.
